Wiktoria Brauksiepe had spent more than a decade developing her career at the Henkel headquarters in Germany by holding global management positions, and since 2020, she has been a Management Board Member of the Henker Polska (commercial company) and of the Henkel Operations and Henkel Balti Operations (Estonian manufacturing companies). Simultaneously, she serves as the Head of Finance for North East Cluster, which covers Poland, the Baltic countries, Ukraine, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

Since the start of her financial career, she has been involved with “green finance” issues. In 2019, while working at the Treasury Department in Germany, she was jointly responsible for introducing the first “green” credit line on the German market and among FMCG companies, worth EUR 1.5 billion, whose interest rate was pegged to Henkel’s official, external ecological rating. Having returned to Poland in 2020, Wiktoria continued to pursue the topic of sustainability by becoming involved with “green supplier financing”. She also coordinated the financial side of a pilot programme for Central and Eastern Europe in Ukraine (later suspended due to the war). Currently, she is working on introducing such a programme for Henkel suppliers in Poland and is sharing her knowledge and experience on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at conferences (such as the Open Eyes Economy Summit) or in interviews to magazines such as Forbes Women or Personel Plus.

In addition to green finance, Wiktoria is interested in widely understood social activism. Under her auspices, in 2022 Henkel Polska became involved in educating seniors as part of the Third Age University affiliated with SGH. This is another example of cross-generational knowledge volunteerism at Henkel – apart from that, the company runs the Sustainable Development Ambassadors programme, where Henkel employees teach primary school pupils how to protect the precious resources of our planet. In addition, our prize winner is active as a talent mentor at Henkel Polska and is also participating in the SGH Monitoring Program.

In 2021, Wiktoria came first in the Rising Business Star ranking compiled by the editors of the Rzeczpospolita daily and Parkiet magazine to honour women who climbed high on the career ladder at a young age. In 2022, she was invited to give an interview in the “50 osobistości Biznesu” [50 Business Personalities] book authored by the editorial team of the “Business Woman&Life” magazine and the “Akogo?” foundation of Ewa Błaszczak.

Wiktoria completed her SGH master’s studies in finance and banking with excellent grades and received an honours degree. She studied some of the subjects at the public university Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster in Germany. Further, she was the holder of the prestigious CFA title for more than a decade. Of Polish and Bulgarian descent, in her private life she is a wife and a mother of two, enjoying beekeeping as a hobby.
