Andrzej Skrzypacz

Prof. Andrzej Skrzypacz graduated with a master’s degree in economics at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He also obtained a doctoral degree in economic sciences at the University of Rochester. Not long after, he was elected a member of the US Econometric Society.

Currently, he serves as the Theodore J. Kreps Professor of Economics at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He deals with microeconomics theory, specialising in analysis of markets, business dynamics and collusion. His current research projects include analysis of auctions, deadlines of market transactions and dynamic incentives.

Andrzej Skrzypacz is the co-editor of the American Economic Review and the deputy editor of the Rand Journal of Economics. In 2005, he received the Stanford GSB Distinguished Service Award. He mentored more than a dozen doctoral theses, including by SGH graduates. His scientific output, which includes numerous publications and accolades, bears proof of the remarkable profile of our graduate.
