Magdalena Jaśkowska
Magdalena Jaśkowska, PhD in social sciences, has worked on clinical trial data for more than 10 years, both for CRO and major pharmaceutical companies (AstraZeneca, GSK). She currently serves as Leader of GSK's International Clinical Trials Centre in Poland and Global Therapeutic Area Leader for Oncology, Respiratory Diseases and Immunology (Rx) in GSK's Strategy and Data Management Department, overseeing a team of more than 300 people in Poland (covering the full drug development pathway) and more than 200 managers globally. She is also a member of the R&D Board for GSK in Poland. She joined GSK in 2021 with a mission to co-create – from scratch – a new GSK hub for clinical trials. The task was done successfully and now GSK has become a leader in Poland.
She has extensive experience in managing portfolios and research projects at the global and business operations level, such as change management and implementing innovative solutions and processes in departments, as well as managing an international team. She is also involved in an additional project of developing DEI initiatives within the company and acts as an inclusion champion, ensuring an inclusive culture within the organization. In 2024, she received the “DEI Programming” certificate.
In addition to her professional activities at GSK, Magdalena Jaśkowska is actively involved in the activities of international top non-profit organizations working in her area of professional and scientific interest. Since 2023, she has served as Editor-in-Chief for “Good Clinical Data Management Practice” and sits on the Management Board of the Society for Clinical Data Management, a global organization that builds standards for data management in clinical trials. In 2023, she was President and founder of the Digital Patient Foundation.
She is actively involved in scientific activities in the field of dissemination of digital health solutions as a postgraduate academic lecturer, author of scientific publications and speeches at international conferences, board member of the Polish Society of Health Economics, Workforce for Digital Health Implementation at Kozminski University and mentor at the Business Leaders Foundation.
