Sonia Wędrychowicz belongs to the limited group of unquestionable global leaders of digital transformation. Over 25 years of experience in banking, gained by her while working in various firms throughout Europe, Asia and America, while managing multi-cultural teams at the same time. Her carrier kick-started in Citi Bank in Poland where she spent almost 18 years, reaching the position of vice chairman. In 2012 she moved to Asia: for 3 years she performed the function of Consumer Bank Country Head in Standard Chartered Bank, and since 2015 she was responsible for the key projects related to digital transformation in DBS Bank in Singapore. Her actions led to launching a digital bank in India and Indonesia (digibank by DBS).

In July 2018 she commenced work for JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Head of Technology Transformation Consumer and Community Bank, whilst on 2 January 2020 she joined McKinsey & Company in Dubai as Senior Advisor on digital transformation.

Sonia is keen on sharing her experience during conferences, workshops and other types of events, especially when students are involved (she met with the students of SGH in June of 2018 and since that time she has been a frequent guest during conferences held in Poland and abroad). During trainings of martial arts such as Muay Thai and American kickboxing (she won a black belt in December 2017) which she got involved in during her move to Asia she discovered several similarities between kickboxing and leadership and managerial competencies, and she often refers to them during her presentations.

Lattice80 portal placed her in the global ranking of Top 100 Women in Fintech 2019 and the global platform LinkedIn - on the list of ten so called Top Voices in the category Finance and Economics.

Apart from Foreign Trade at SGPiS Sonia Wędrychowicz also graduated from Brunel University (Bachelor of Arts in European Business Studies) and Intermediate accounting course w Pace University New York i Management Leadership Course in Carlerton University Ottawa. Moreover, she gave lectures at the University in Stanford Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA further to performing the function of Adjunct Professor at the National University of Singapore (2018-2019).
